Introduction

Thank you for using "Housework Tracker" (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

The App collects the following information:

• Email Address: Used for account registration and login
• Username: Displayed as your member name within the App
• Housework Records: Task names, completion dates, points, etc.
• AI Assistant Input: Text input and, if voice recognition is used, the recognized text
• Shopping List and Schedule Data: Item names, dates/times, assignees, etc.

External Data Transmission (Japan Telecommunications Business Act Compliance)

The App transmits information to the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

• Google Firebase (Authentication / Firestore / Cloud Functions): Stores and processes authentication info, housework records, member info, shopping lists, schedules, and chat input
• AI Services (via Firebase Cloud Functions): For the AI Assistant feature, input text is sent via Firebase Cloud Functions to a large language model (LLM) to convert natural language into tasks, shopping items, and schedules. Only input text and the existing task list are sent; no personally identifiable information is transmitted
• Google AdMob: Device identifiers (Advertising ID) are sent for ad delivery
• iOS Speech Recognition (on-device processing): Voice recognition is primarily processed on-device, but depending on iOS settings, voice data may be transmitted to Apple's servers

How We Use Your Information

• User authentication and account management
• Providing app functionality (housework tracking, point management, shopping lists, schedule management)
• Automatic task/shopping/schedule registration from natural language via the AI Assistant
• Data sharing between family members or partners

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers (Advertising ID) for ad delivery and measurement. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more details.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored on Google Firebase. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:

• With your consent
• When required to comply with legal obligations
• Anonymized data shared with advertising partners (Google AdMob)

Account Deletion

To delete your account, go to "Settings" → "Account" section and tap "Delete Account" in the App. When you delete your account, all associated data (email address, user information, etc.) will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. After account deletion, your personal data will be completely removed from our servers within 30 days. Note that housework records within a room may be retained for other members who share the same room.
